Someone try to break in..?

So after eating, I noticed this in the parking lot:

Don't know if someone tried breaking in, or just hit it with a door.

We were in Vancouver earlier on, and the car was parked in a corner (backed in) underground, so the whole right side was beside a wall. Someone could have easily gotten on their knees and tried to get in while being hidden. My buddy didn't notice it when we were leaving though. Came back into town, got gas (still didn't notice it), and went to Boston Pizza (restaurant). After eating, that's when we noticed it.

First a douche kicks in the left rear quarter panel, and batons the windshield:

After getting that repaired, my uncle backs it into something which required a repaint. And now this happens.

Does that look like someone tried to break into the car? Or could it be something else?

Break in for sure, from the looks of the dents they used something to try and pry the handle. So yes I would say attempted break in.

Man that just sucks, Jas. But definitely an attempted break in. When they couldn't get in they just smashed things up.

I hate thieves! I agree with the above- they tried to break in and got pissed so they just decided to mess it up.

I disagree... Pretty dumb way to try and break in when a slim-jim or coat hanger would have done it a lot easier. I think it's damage from a door hit or shopping cart.

Its hard to say if someone tried to breakin but I agree with Bernie thats a pretty dumb way to breakin. Just a couple months ago I had someone slim jim into my truck and take Gps and radar detector, but no other damage.
