Painting a chrome bumper?

We've painted many bumpers over the years that were chrome. Never had one come back. We just sanded them and sprayed them with etching primer... then painted. Works like a champ. Powdercoating is cool but it won't shine like a good base coat / clear coat finish.

Looking at your sig, your bumpers are already painted. So, what are you painting? :dunno:
On a side note, my grand son would love your truck. Yellow is his favorite color. :D

I wonder....has anyone ever clear coated over powder coating before?? To get the shinny effect....:dunno:
