I search in disgust trying to find a fully loaded regular cab truck. I want leather seats and all the bells and whistles but I only want 2 doors. WTH, seems like the only way to get what I want is go extended cab or crew cab.:(
Does this shit bother anyone else or is it just me?:dunno:

There are a couple sitting in the Dealer lot of Hendrick Chevy here in Cary.. But they keep a better inventory than most dealers... I mean hell, They sell the most Vettes out of any other dealership in NC... Along side it must be nice to have 10 million in vette inventory...

I know you are talking about a truck here but I am pleased that my dealer stocks their inventory frequently.

Wasn't happening when I was looking for a truck... but when my fiance was looking for her new Terrain, she was wanting to get the SLT2 (which is the higher class model) but they ONLY had them in leather... with our dog that doesn't work... We were willing to spend the extra money for bells and whistles but we just couldn't have the leather...

so we went down to a lower class Terrain

Well maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. Maybe it's time to go to the dealerships and sit down with them. I can't build what I want on Chevrolet or Fords sites. They always want to upgrade me to another package or something crazy like that. :dunno:

Hell it's honestly been like that for a few years now! I was looking for a reg cab back in 2002 when I bought my extended cab. The only reg cabs to be found were XL's. I called every dealer in Ga. before I finally gave in and bought an extended cab. I didn't have a time frame that allowed me to have on built, so I had to give in quicker then I normally would have.

After owning an 2 extended cabs (one's a work truck) now for almost 8 years I prefer them over a regular cab. Scary thing I read a while back was Ford was thinking of doing away with the extended cabs and just making crews...:dunno:

Good luck on your search.
