What Will My Caddy Do In The 1/4 Mile?

Well... reckon I will post some results of todays time trials...
The Caddy is real consistant in times and speeds.
The one major problem it has is the little 4.6 engine moving alnost 2.5 tons from a dead stop...
..
It is either doggy off the line...if you just kinda "ROLL INTO IT"..but if you nail it "HARD" taking off...you get wheelspin and wheelhop.
Neither one is good.
Here are the results of several runs...
15.80...88.97
15.72...89.16
15.62...91.54
15.60...91.65
15.59...91.67
I got a little bit better at getting it off the line as the day went on and I had a little more practice.
This is the "FIRST TIME" it has ever been to a 1/4 mile track... and it has been close to "TWENTY YEARS" since "I" have been to a 1/4 nile track.....
Now to figure out who was closest in their guess...

But keep in mind that they drive cars every day on the 1/4 mile.
They know what they are doing..
It's been at least 20 years since I have done any 1/4 mile stuff..
But I am pretty happy with it.
I was hoping for better times... but it was in the upper 80's ans I was having wheelspin issues.
Maybe I can do better if I do it in the fall when it is a little cooler..
I would like to see 14.99 out of it, but thats probably impossible...

Probably one of the very few "TUNED GRAMPA CARS" in the world...
