I have never seen or had a delco last half that long.

As long as you never exceed stock-ish power ratings...

My dad got 11 years out of his factory Delco battery in his '93 'burban...
Though, the positive post fell out and he had to buy a new battery about 3 months before he traded it off

I finally drove the truck today (it was raining and I had to haul food to work). I'll probably wash it and polish it on Sunday. Going to hit 90 on Sunday.
