Mine just turned over to 79k the other day, with the original engine.

Very nice... We have put about 4k miles on it since we got it.. The only repair that we have made besides all of the new parts is the water pump...

That's unusual from what I understand. The water pumps on the late model 6.5's are supposed to be pretty heavy duty, with a 130 GPM flow rate.

I've had to do a few things on mine, such as a new master right after I got it, and recently a remote mount PMD. If yours still has the original PMD in it then you should expect to to start failing anytime now. The originals tend to fail right around 75k. Mine made it to 77k. :)

Oh, and I just replaced the original starter on it, and upgraded the alternator to a 140 amp.

Yeah well IMO when you put a new motor in a truck one thing that should be done is to replace the water pump... That water pump has the full 165k... It didn't bother me one bit that it had to be replaced...

Which Transmission do you have?
We are experiencing some interesting shifting patterns... Simply it sometimes sticks in 3rd and will not go into 4th..

I am afraid to touch it fearing that would be its demise...

I've got the 4L80-E in mine, which is probably what you have as well. I'm not that good with trannies, but Hotrodpc is. Maybe drop him a PM and get his opinion on this.

Yep, 21 front and 18 rear. Is your utility back made by Reading?

I don't know I would have to go and look at it...

I sold it to a friend of mine and it sits right where I left it!
