Don't talk bad about Wyle...
He comes up with some really cool stuff.

Don't usually work too well... :dunno:
but it was cool anyway.

One of my fav cartoons.Gotta give him credit,he never gives up:thumbs:

I agree, but wouldn't it have been easier, and cheaper to just go buy food? :dunno:

Yeah... buying food would have been easier and cheaper...but that's not the point. :)
When somebody Fwoncks with you "ENOUGH"... you "HAVE" to get them back... no matter what.

Or at least "I" do. :) :)
There is almost nothing I wouldn't do in that case. :)

I am kinda on Wyle's side, in this case... "AND" I know how he feels.
Sometimes the crap I try to do don't work too good either. :) :) :) :)

Thursday actually....painted the Bowtie in the grill to match the Burb color

Pics!

I took only one, gotta upload it to PB.Gimme a few..

The DupliColor can said it's my color, but it's darker that the Burb. The Burb was re-painted at some point so doing any clolor matching(fender flares, handles etc) is gonna be a bitch

Thanks:)I'm considering painting the fender flares the same color(door handles too, maybe). How do you think it would look with the flares a little darker?I'm thinking it's gotta be better than those damn black ones.:dunno:

Wasn't on my truck, but I replaced the muffler on my friend's '99 Mercury Mountaineer. He's been biatching about it since last Fall. He got several quotes from Midas and a few other muffler shops to do it for $200+. I told him I could do it way cheaper, for just the cost of the muffler. He just never took me up on my offer.

Well, this family was going out of town this weekend so I worked it out with his wife so I could get the spare set of keys from her. After they left Friday morning, I headed over to his place and got to work. Got the sawsall out and started hacking away. I couldn't finish because of the STUPID 4" of SNOW we got!! Only in Iowa do you have 65 degrees one day and the next day you have 4" of snow on the ground & 32 degrees.

My Dad ended up being in town today so he rode along and he helped me finish it today. Total job took about 3-4 hours.

For those of you who aren't too familiar with this year's Ford/Merc, the exhaust system is fawked up! It's two 2 1/4" pipes coming into the muffler (one side is a regular exhaust pipe and the other side has a flang on it) and exiting out through a single 2" pipe! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Talk about restriction! I almost called his wife and said I wasn't gonna do it, but thought I'd do a good-deed for him.

I was temped to buy a more throaty muffler from O'Reilly's, but I wasn't too sure how he'd think about the noise. So I just went with a stock muffler. She's purrrrs like a kitten now!
