GM 3.3L engines

Are the buick 91-93 gen 3.3L engines the same ones that are used in the 3.3L 92-95 pontiac grand ams?

Probably so, but if it's like the other GM engines, sensors and intakes will be different. They are good at that.

No. I think they 92-95 were just 3.0L V6ers.

My 92 grand am SE has 3.3L in it. Its interchangable with 92-95 grand ams. Thats why I asked that.

OK. Here's what his computer says:

Century, Achieva, Grand Am all used the same 3.3L engine in 92. Hollander interchange lists these as 92 ONLY because of some bolt holes that are not in later engines and 92 only harmonic balancer and crankshaft position sensors. I'm not saying that a later engine will not work with some parts swapping... just that Hollander does not list it as an exchange.

That's all I know.

Mine needs a rebuilding of the motor and 3t40 trany. Found rebuild kit for 750 buck on ebay for a 91-93 buick 3.3L.
