CUSTOMIZING WHEELS STEP 2 & 3

you cant see step 3 in the pictures, but its a metallic flake clear coat. very subtle but pops amazingly when in the sun

Will have a final picture tomorrow

tmorrow, I have a fear that the black paint is gonna come off with the painters tape.

If that happens then Ill be shelling out 50 buck per wheel for sand basting and flat black powder coat, The red will still be painted though

You may be ok, looks like you used the blue stuff. It should come off, hopefully without damage.

Well do to rain i wont be working on the truck today, but i did manage to remove the tape BEFORE the rain came in.

and as i was afraid the tape peal sections of the black off. I have no clue as to why the black didnt hold in some areas while it held great in the majority.

but i did take some pictures, they look amazing Black/red

Sweet.

Will you be painting the truck in the same color scheme?

The truck will remain the same color. I had originally planned on red springs, and axles. But i dont think im gonna go that far. Im gonna do the knuckles in red, the steering in red, and the diff covers in red. But thats probably it.
