Good thing to know about not getting the knock off stuff too. I'll get the 3M stuff.

I did the same thing but used the Dupli-Color bed coating. Well worth the $15 :thumbs:

Hmmm I may need to do this. I really hate the wheel well liners up front and then not in the rear. I wonder how it holds up in snow and salt?

Nice. That's weird because I did mine about a year ago, too, with the exact same product. I've been trying to spread the word. :cheers:


A note for those that do this: The only issue with this is that it's a very viscous spray. Best to put it in hot water for a few minutes before using or be sure not to turn the can upside down.

It made a huge difference on mine because Ford doesn't paint our rear wheel wells from the factory. :fume:

Your truck is black, you didn't have painted black wells in the rear? Mine are maroon. I want them flat black like my frame so I may go with this vs painting them this summer.

Only one way to find out. I will be doing mine in the spring before the meet. Then next winter I can tell you how it is holding up with snow and salt. :lol:

I think you will be fine with Rustoleum. I have always had good luck with their products.
