Body Side Molding

I think I am going to ditch the molding and look into the spray on bedliner for the rocker panels. Anyone know a good DIY spray on product?
As for the fender flares, the truck has the OEM fender flares, but they don't seem to fit snug. There is a small gap where the flare meets the line of the body that runs the lenght of the body.

I say ditch em! My neighbor has an 04 Cheby and he removed his and it looks a lot better without them to be honest. Much cleaner lines overall.

If you do decide to remove them, make sure to get you a pinstripe remover tool. If not, you'll be doing it for two days!

Post up some pictures of the gap you're talking about, it sounds like the double sided tape that holds the flares tight to the body might just need to be replaced.

I'd say pull it. I'm 99% sure that it's just held on with 3m adhesive. some goo gone and fishing line will do the job

I'm a 100% sure. I watched my neighbor remove his. He has a 2004 Silverado and he removed all the badges and trim in like 2 hours using that wheel I posted earlier. It takes a lot more time with the Goo Gone or acetone. I spent 3 hours on just my door before I decided to go get a pinstripe wheel.

You Chevy boys are lucky! All the badges and trim is held in place by trim tape! No holes are anything. I was shocked when I didn't see any guide holes where the badges came off.

Oh I know. The older body style Fords trim was on there brother! The 97-03's is just trim tape. The thing that pisses me off about Ford is the damn badges ALL have guide holes. So if you want to remove the badges you got to do body work. I guess the Ford employees had trouble putting the badges on straight so Ford decided to punch guide holes in the panel where there's badges!?!?

I decided to just black mine out!
