The cops are even dumber than the idiot driving.
What did you want the cops to do?

See the obvious and allow room for doubt, not strengthen this guy's case by putting down on paper that it looked like a simple case of a stuck pedal.
Im sure they are investigating, and Im sure nobody would know better if it was a stuck pedal than the toyota dealership... so im sure they will let the dealer look at it and then factor in their findings.

The dealer has no witness that can say they saw him stomp the pedal.

:uhoh:

Its kind of hard to see if someone stomps the pedal if you are outside the truck, even inside the truck it wouldn't be easy.

Twice, they probably hadn't zip tied his floor mat yet. So that does increase the odds. Faulty floor mat + faulty pedal + angry patron = (truck + wall) * BS excuse .

The first recall said to remove the floor mat, so obviously the guy can't read either....

Thankfully no one was injured at the dealer. Imagine being at a dealership looking around and one of your kids gets killed by some moron that doesn't want his truck anymore :uhoh:

Can't they pull the EDR to see if the brakes were applied and what the throttle was at? If it's a stuck throttle pedal it should be less than 100% since it can't stick farther down than he pushed it.

Can ya blame the guy? :dunno:  How they gonna prove whether it was intentional or not? He has one witness (his passenger) thats can vouche for him that it was a faulty accellerator. The dealer has no witness that can say they saw him stomp the pedal.
His truck has already been recalled for that happening, so the odds are even more in his favor. :dunno:

Absolutely. He's a thief and a liar, IMO. Scum.

I agree with Daddy! The guys a low down dirty lieing thief!

The truck had brakes, no recall on those yet!

Dont hold your breath:
