I like the Terrains, but the Wife wouldn't drive one. She doesn't like any Vehicle that resembles a "Station Wagon"
She must have been traumatized as a Child!

that sucks man. she is averaging about 21mpg in the terrain, but don't forget she has the V6 AWD.
thanks again guys
Nice! I think we are just going to grab a FWD 4cyl so it should be even better then that!
Wow, is crime high in your area? It almost sounds like you weren't surprised by it.![]()
High crime? Not at all. Its just, nothing really surprises me anymore. I mean I was surprised when I went out to start it up to heat it up for her and it wasn't there, but after I realized what happened, I wasn't surprised anymore. Never had, or heard about a problem in our area, of course until the police were called. They had 6 open reports of stolen vehicles in our area. Not sure whats going on, but we def make sure everything is locked and the alarms are armed. We've always practiced those methods before, but now we are def more cautious. We are hoping to get the car back in one piece, although the odds of that are not in our favor. None of the stolen cars have been recovered. I feel bad as she loved that car, but I am glad it wasn't my truck. She just gets in and drives, I cherish every mile in my baby and its modded to my likings. She is driving a rental now (2010 Impala) until her car is recovered, or 30 days when they consider it a loss. We'll see. In the meantime, we are eying up a new Equinox or the Terrain.
