Looking for a daily driver

im getting a new job soon that will require some traveling and im not going to put those extra miles on my bee or spend the extra $$ in gas to drive it so what do you guys think would be a good daily driver?

i was thinking of a 4 banger of some kind but boosted i need power lol

cobalt ss
srt4 neon

or i might go back to a grand prix gtp like i had b4 i bought the truck

what do you guys think?

is the cobalt turbo charged???? those srt4s are dam fast little scooters!

the older cobalt ss's are supercharged which would be the one i would look at since they are cheaper both the srt and the cobalt ss get around 30 mpg as far as "little" cars those are both my favorites always liked the srt's i know they are a neon but still pretty cool lol looking to spend less than $10k

Never sat in one but the Cobalt SS gets pretty favorable reviews in the car mags. If you want sporty and great gas mileage, the Altima with a manual trans is pretty fun to drive but can't compete speed wise with the SS or Neon.

VW TDI jetta. The newer ones with computers can be chipped and can go pretty quick.:thumbs:

Plus you get the benefit of economy.

I'd steer clear of the Neon. It's fast, but they have a tendency to fall apart.

I would NOT buy a used turbo car. I've seen way too many of them at auction with their tongues hanging out. You KNOW they have been thrashed. It's what they are made for.
