It's not going to be permanent, or a "serious" setup by any means (wait until you see my wheel plans), just a change of pace.
It'll only cost me shackles, an alignment (which I need anyway), and I might even be able to get away with running my old Duelers (so add mounting and balancing). I'll probably be trading my buddy some parts for the wheels, so that's "free" in a way.
I just want to do it to confuse people, and trust me, it'll be a strange setup.
Oh and when I say "cheap" for tires, I mean as close to "free" as possible. That's why I'll probably pull the Duelers out of my shed.

Don't get me wrong Danno. I think it's a cool new direction (and a great project). I just meant a slammed line-x truck would be somewhat odd.
Oh it's a completely ridiculous idea. And I'm going to do everything in my power to emphasize that.
And it'll be far from slammed, probably about equal to a 2wd with drop shackles.
