Hey guys, so I wanted to do away with the door buzzer on my '96, and my dad told me about the box that you just pull and and no more buzzers, but I would like to keep the buzzer for the lights, so I don't get a dead battery sometime, so I tried finding which pin it was on the buzzer module, and there are only 2 pins that are ever hot, one is hot all the time, and another comes on with the keys on, variation with the door switch or the light switch
Also my dad remembered cutting off a pin from the buzzer module to get rid of the door buzzer, but doesn't remember which one

Does anybody know which pin is for the doors?
I can post a pic of the module if need be
Thanks

The '96's still have those small pins on the side of the dash that get pushed in when the door is shut, correct?

If so, you can epoxy those so they are always depressed which will get rid of the door buzzer. We did that on my buddies '93. Redneck engineering FTW!

I`m failing to get the pic uploaded man but if you pull the little box off the firewall its the top left pin, bend it over and re-install. the little box on mine has 4 pins on the right and three on the left, bend the top one of the side with three, so there is only two pins, the four on the other side stay the same.

letme know if this works. :)
