Well I was making an exhaust video and when I got out there was coolant pouring out the bottom:eek::eek:
So upon further inspection, I saw that it it was the connection of a heater hose the was coming from the head right beside the throttle body, and headed to the cab, so I unhooked it, and I saw the plastic bushing inside of it was broken into tiny pieces, so I pulled that whole fitting out of the block, and am heading to the parts store to see what I can find

Has this happened to any of you guys before?

:lol: Those quick connect things are a joke if you ask me. Tell the guy at the parts store what happened. If he is knowledgeable at all, he'll be able to fix you up.

Yep, I got me a new one ordered up, and luckily it'll be here berfore christmas

That plastic stuff is great until it breaks. Glad you found the part and it will be in soon. It would really suck if it was gonna take a few weeks to come in.

Yeh Jim, now it's funny, but when I first opened the door and saw the steam rolling from under the hood and coolant pouring on the floor, I about $hit my pants

I'm with ya there. That would suck! Glad it was somewhat minor.
