between the flex and the bed bounce vids. Im a bit worried about them. Other than that the motor is bad ass.

my biggest worry was the tailgate, I have quad that I load and unload from there, and the last thing I would want is for the tailgate to separate, but the tundras look pretty sweet, they look mean lifted with rims, my uncles friends both have tacomas and love them, but I need and want a full sized(1/2 ton) p/u, and I like the GMC a lot...if/when I get another truck I will most likely get a GMC CC, I just hope they have a 6.5 bed then

Oh...the famous flexing videos. I agree that Toyota would have been better off going with a FBF but I figure there thought process was "I know how to beat the best 1/2 tons out there...lets take a 3/4 ton and wrap it in a 1/2 ton package". Wrong or right, but if you were to take the big 3's 3/4 tons down the same roads I'm guessing the flexing would be the same or worse.

Either way, it's a truck I know it's going to ride like a truck on rough roads. But I do know that when 1 threw 2K+ of floor slate into the back of the bed the ride was smooth as silk. LOL.

Then why the 1/2 ton payload and tow ratings?

They may be realistic...unlike some other manufacturer who grossly overrates their trucks...to make them seem above the competition.

It was a tic comment. I'm not saying that it's a 3/4 ton...I was just saying that from the looks of the frame and the beefed up drivetrain it's as though Toyota took notes from the big 3's 3/4 ton and threw it into a 1/2 ton truck.
