those big stacks are so when the motor goes all the pistons + turbo collect in the box.

I have seen that crazy hummer before, its insanly overdone.

I think the same thing, but I see tons of them around here for 4 wheels and snowmobiles. Some of those beds are even hydraulic and tilt down for a better angle to load.
