If that is the case what about side and rear windows limo tinted?No matter what someone will frown on what a person chooses.

I agree there are still risks with over-tinting the sides but that's totally different than reducing visibility through the windshield, IMO.

What kind of bulbs do you have in your reverse lights? They look pretty bright and I would like to upgrade mine to see easier at night.

Call me crazy, but I prefer to keep everything I have worked for my whole life, not to mention my future wages for the rest of my life.

Some of that stuff is going to spoil at some point, Jeff. You might want to at least clean out the fridge every now and then.

i agree though, there is NO WAY I would take the chance of tinting my front windshield. There are just too many possibilities for that to go bad.

The 35 on the windsheild does not impair my driving at all, cant even tell its there especially with the hid's. Yeah I understand the risks for it but I bet if you ride in my truck at night you won't tell a bit of difference. People that ride in there i have to sometimes say "you know my windsheild is tinted right?" They say no, never even noticed it.

Now my roll downs on the other hand I will admit those are sometimes too dark.

They are 3057 or 3157 white LED's. I dont know for sure, because I bought them from a buddy who got them off ebay...

I noticed a huge difference, with those in tailights and the LEDs in the line of fire its definately brighter than stock.

I don't doubt that one bit Kyle. But we live in a "sue-happy" world these days and since it's illegal, you could be considered negligent in court and lose your ass.

Agreed. I wasn't implying the tint actually would be a problem, just that it will be as far as the cops and insurance companies are going to be concerned. If it's not legal and it's logical that it could have interfered, you'll be up shit creek if it's not 100% clear that the accident wasn't your fault.

Yep it sucks. Just the way this country is. There is no doubt in my mind if I got in an accident at night or even during the day that would be against me, and you're right since its illegal. It's the chance I take, but I take it with caution

Codeman-here in Vegas if you get stopped for anything, you can bet on getting a ticket for the windshield, and it ain't cheap either, couple hundred bucks.
Mine is tinted and I notice if I'm driving on a dark road its a little harder to see at night, but then again my truck is lifted and the lights were never adjusted and I don't have HIDs-would be better if I did.
As far as limo tint-the law is- your back window, and rear passenger windows can be as dark as you want, even had a traffic cop tell me you can paint them black for all we care, but your driver window and front passenger window can be no darker then, if I remember correctly, 35%.
