I'll hit this milestone on my way home from work today. All I've done is normal maintenance and changed the oil every 5,000 miles. I did have the transmission tuned to get rid of the TC shudder. I also have the pig oil sprayed every October and there's no rust. Hopefully she'll serve me well for a few more years.

What year is your truck, and what size engine. C1500?

I believe he has a 2011 with a 6.0

Ken's right. It's a 2011 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0L and the 6L90 transmission. The pig now has 300,027 miles on it.

I'm not there yet, but I'm not to far behind you. I have a 97 C1500, with a Vortec 5.7L. I have 268,000 on it now. I rebuilt the rear end, with an Eaton truetrack and 373s, then a week later blew up the 4L60E trans. Had it performance rebuilt. That was about 2 years ago. It may take me a while to hit the 300,000 mile mark now that I retired, last February. I bought the truck used in 2002 with 85,000 on it.

It is the first vehicle I've had that reached 300K. As long as I'm able to keep up maintenance on it I think I will get a lot more miles out of the pig.
