I changed the oil in it yesterday. Two weeks before I did, I put 2 bottles of Amsoil PI in the tank and filled it up. Drove that tank out and filled up again. I have that tank down to almost a 1/4 tank. When I changed the oil, that nasty crap was black as could be. I'm sure the PI did some thorough cleaning. I think the old pig was happy to get some new blood and a filter.
That's the best, run the P.il and then change the oil.

That's the way I've always done it. Some people add stuff when they change their oil. My philosophy has always been not to contaminate the fresh oil that was just put in. :dunno:

Man, 12 years of 20 inch 10 ply tires at 80 PSI have done me in. My spleen can no longer take it :p

These 18s ride so nice. The wife and I took a run up a backroad this morning in North Idaho, she instinctively grabbed the Oh Shit handle when she spied the potholes i was about to roll through at 70, but soon realized how nice this thing soaks up bumps.
Yeah, I installed the Eibach Pro 2.0 kit on my 1500, the ride is so much better and doesn't bottom out going over speed bumps. The 18" tires made a difference as well, but the Toyo Open Country ATIII's are louder than I thought they would be. Not bad though, just not quiet like the Michelin Defenders on Susan's Suburban.

I made the appointment for May 1st to get the Z-shield on the hood, bumper, facia, etc., the front tint, and 10 year Ceramic coating.
The ceramic coating is the way to go. I got the Ceramic Pro on mine when I first got it. Now I just keep up with it with Adam's Graphene Ceramic Advance. Easy to do and keep clean.

No, it is the switch you are describing. I have to do it every time I start the vehicle. I didn't think that was too terrible.

I will check out that device you posted, thanks!
I'm cheap and just drive in L9 in manual mode. No AS or DFM. Also my mpg didn't take a hit until I put the Eibach kit on and lager 285/75-18 Toyo's on. Now it is natural for me to get in, pull the gear shift down all the way and select L9.

Nope. I’m in a 6.2 High Country.

I went with Cognito CA’s, Eibach coilovers for about 2.5” of level and then a 1” block in the rear. I also swapped out the half axles up front for the Trail Boss version. They’re slightly longer and keep the CV’s at a better angle.

Borla touring exhaust and then the Kicker sub GM offers but added a bass knob. Sounds amazing.
I did the same thing on mine but put a 2" block in the back. The Trail Boss axles, when set side by side my factory axles, were shorter not longer, which kind of makes sense. The geometry of the suspension, if you look at it. When you move up it pulls the wheels closer not farther away. I was surprise that the axles were shorter. I should have taken a picture of the two side by side.

Ordered from WeatherTech today:
-Door sill protectors
-Window deflectors
-Clear plate covers/black frames

My license plate rotted nearly to dust from the mag chloride. Going to try and protect these ones. Replacement plates are spendy!

I love WeatherTech stuff. Sure wish it was cheaper :crybaby:
