It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
I'm gonna keep my truck for a while and will always have one as my DD. :)

But the next purchase will be a 1973 Corvette

Why a 1973?

Oh I'm not sure it'll be a 73. But I like the C3 Body style and 1973 was the last year of the chrome bumpers. 1972 had chrome front and back, 1974 had rubber front and back. 1973 had chrome back and rubber front. So it's kinda unique.

You get later in the 70's and the emissions really crippled those cars. But the 76-82 cars are a lot cheaper . . .

I'd take a 1978 Black and Silver 25th Anniversary Editon. No worries about emissions, as they would be history anyway.

If I were to purchase a vete it would be 1 of 3. First would be a 69 427/4speed car, Second 67 427/435hp tri-power car. 3rd would be 66 350hp/327 fuel injected car. I do have a 4th but its not as desireable that would be one of 7.0L Z06 vettes.

It's my wife's turn for a new vehicle so our next purchase will be for her. We plan to replace her car next summr with either an BMW X5 or Range Rover.

I'll always be in a truck though. I'll buy another Sierra when I sell mine in 2-3 years.

Not a bad choice

Well yeah . . . but my budget does NOT allow that. My budget *could* allow for a later C3.

I'm working on the old lady. In fact, several times this summer she said, "This would be a perfect day to be cruising in our Corvette." :danana:

I had a 92 vette roadster with the LT-1 in it. It was a great car. Very nice to ride in and you can get one for about 10K these days.
