New ones are almost like buying a house...I looked around at some other things before I looked at Porsche. I liked what I saw, but QUICKLY figured out I had to buy used...
I still can't believe what happened yesterday...

Those wheels... I wasn't fond of them at all until I saw them in person. They're growing on me pretty quick.
I'm not sure if that's a good thing yet or like a bad rash!

My boss has that exact car, in red. I rode in it a few times to visit customer sites. It is very cool inside...like a cockpit...and very refined.
He likes to get on it at times...probably trying to impress me as he knows I had a C6 Vette. Let's just say I was "less than impressed" with the performance and the sound of it.
One day we were riding in his old Lexus and came up on a Lambo on the freeway and he says "damn, wish I had my Porsche". I had to bite my tongue and keep from laughing out loud. That Lambo would have smoked him using 1/2 throttle.
He likes to get on it at times...probably trying to impress me as he knows I had a C6 Vette. Let's just say I was "less than impressed" with the performance and the sound of it.

Yeah, I didn't get it for the performance. I "thought" about a Turbo. But, they were way more money and not enough more ponies to be worth it. This one has the sport suspension, which will tighten it up some for canyon carving, but it's no 'Vette or even Camaro on performance.
I've heard a lot of people say "it's like being in a cockpit, with all those buttons." I think that's pretty accurate.
I didn't realize you had bought a Ram. How's that treating you?
