Well, how well did they perform in the mud?

Typically, when I have gotten into muddy / slick situations, I've had to turn on the "Auto-4WD" to make sure I got through it. Otherwise, once all 4 wheels get into the mud, the truck would lose a LOT fo momentum and feel like it was probably gonna try to get stuck.

The mud I went through was pretty soupy and rutted (but probably only about 3 truck lengths long, so not a LOT of mud, but enough to test traction a bit). I left 'er in 2WD and maintained a steady throttle... she shifted from side to side, going through the ruts (drug some mud on the front license plate, which seems to happen a lot with this truck), and just ate it up. I never had to engage the auto-4wd or any other mode.

I just kept 'er in 2WD. She slowed down a bit, but she'd find something else to "eat" and keep on a truckin'.

Yeah, I was pretty impressed with them.

If the cities hadn't blocked off my old mud holes, I could've done much better testing.
I've been in a lot of mud on this job we're on. So far, these Falken's are getting me through it and I only have a 4x2 truck.

With the old tires, if the roads were the least bit slick, I'd turn on Auto-4wd. Otherwise, she'd get squirrelly on me. I did that the first couple of times it rained, but then I realized that these tires weren't spinning at the places the old tires were spinning on DRY days. So, unless it was really comin' down, I left 'er in 2WD and she did fine.

That gave me a lot more comfort to run through the "wet, rutted mess" I ran through yesterday and the day before. The day before, it was still raining, so almost all the mud washed off before I got home.  There was SOME still on the truck yesterday, but not enough to take peekshurs of.

I gotta get outta here!

I didn't do it but my parents had to have my battery charged.

Apparently, leaving my truck for two weeks killed the battery. I also didn't know that my truck has 15 systems that kill the battery as well.:mad::mad:
