I kind of wish we'd get some snow so I can see how well these new tires I bought do. I went ahead and got 4 Falken Wildpeaks and will swap them back to the other ones in the spring.

I put new tires on the Buick a couple of weeks ago. I want to see how they do in the snow. I put Michelin Defender LTX's on her. I did notice a big difference in road noise and ride.

The Terra Grapplers I put on the truck seem to ride a little smoother than the OEM tires. I've been liking that. I haven't had a chance to play in snow or mud, though.

The first few days, these tires seemed to "talk" more than the original tires. But, they either quieted down or I quickly got used to it.

These Falkens are quiet, but I have noticed a drop in fuel mileage.The Terra Grapplers I put on the truck seem to ride a little smoother than the OEM tires. I've been liking that. I haven't had a chance to play in snow or mud, though.

They are probably heavier than what you had.

Definitely...and have a much more aggressive tread pattern.

I haven't checked enough "local" miles yet to see if there's a difference I can attribute to the tires. I think I've been driving faster because the truck feels smoother, which has led to lower mileage.
