Ahhh...I missed that. I get it, though. Owning a modern diesel is great, until it isn't. If you have to replace a HP pump, injectors, VGT Turbo, or aftertreatment, your ownership experience just went in the toilet.

I was joking when I said that, but I DO seem to remember him saying he didn't have the $$ to replace 'em all, so he had them tested and was replacing the ones that needed it most, as he had the $$.

Correct... I got a smokin' deal on my two used injectors, lol. $550 for parts and labour for both injectors. Injector rattle is completely inaudible on anything other than smooth pavement, lol.

It used to be audible until I turned up my music at least half way
