"Comes with CD stuck in radio at no extra cost" :zembonez:

Good luck with the sale! Info column show it as a 4cyl, don't know if you can change that. Also, didn't you just get new tires? I'd mention that, they're a big ticket item

Yes, Thanks for reminding me about that. I will add the tires too.

Question:

Some guy is interested in buying it and will pay me with a cashier's check. But he is going to have his movers pick it up because he got a contract job in Florida.

Do you all think this could be a scam? I'd like to at least meet him or talk to him. We've been conversing via text message.

I am glad I trust my gut.

This was at the end of an email that craigslist sends out. I overlooked at it until now.

WARNING!! *** WARNING!! *** WARNING!! *** WARNING!!

Please be wary of distant 'buyers' responding to your ad! Many sellers receive replies from scammers hoping to defraud them through schemes involving counterfeit cashier's checks and/or wire transfers. These checks will clear the bank, but the person cashing the check will be held responsible when the fraud is discovered. More info on scams can be found at this web address:

https://www.craigslist.org/about/scams

Another person is interested but they can only pay me 3,000. I would really love to get more than that. What do you all think. Should I hold out or sell it to this person. The daughter would buy it and it would be for his grandchild. I am emailing with the grandparent I am assuming.

What is NADA stand for?

The KBB is 3,384 for Private Sale

For a Trade in it would be 1,636.

NADA is the book banks use.

NADA

I'd counter-offer $3250

The person told me that is all the daughter can afford because that is what I was going to do.

I really don't want to go any cheaper than 3200.

Update: I emailed them and they asked me what the lowest I would go. I am going to tell them 3250.

Of course they told you that. Tell them $3250 or no deal. If they are serious, they won't walk over $250. If they do, it'll sell to someone else.

When I sold my Vette in the spring, I had an absolute rock-bottom price I was asking and I told the guy that. His offer was $500 less. I let him walk...he called me back a couple weeks later and gave me what I wanted.

Thanks for the helpful advice. My dad is ignoring my text messages. The whole time I was on vacation in Lake Tahoe he was driving me insane by texting me and calling me. But now when I want to talk to him about my suv he isn't answering me!!
