CD's stuck in CD player

Hey guys-


What do you suggest I do. The CD's are stuck in my cd player of my 2004 ford explorer. I want to get them out but I don't want a high price to have someone take them out. I am going to be selling my suv (private sale) so I can use that money towards the chevy truck.


I really wish one of you handy guys was near me so I could pay you to fix my cd player.

I believe that disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes would reset it so you can eject them.

I had to retrieve some discs for a friend who drunkenly loaded multiple CDs into a single disc player

Looks like you might have to remove some trim around the radio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXs2JWFhUHQ Used to be you could just pop them out with a couple pieces of bent wire stuck in the little holes on each side. Once you get it out, you should be able to unscrew the top cover and retrieve your discs.

I haven't tried yet partly because I do not know how to unplug the battery back in afterwards.

I tried to google youtube videos. Several suggested banging on the top of the radio which I did. Another youtube video suggested sticking tape on a credit card and try pulling it out that way. I haven't had a chance to do the later.
