Thanks gents. She deserves it. In my defense, I have been trying to get her something for 8 years  she loved her Tahoe
I drove that brand new Acadia in the driveway, and she caved. She just didn't like the white. So we have a red one coming

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
My mom drives a 14 Acadia and really likes it. The only issues she's had with it was around Christmas, and it was some sort of bad sensor, not sure exactly which. It was covered under a TSB or something, but their local dealer was stupid. Long story, but they're happy with it again.

I don't know if I ever mentioned in on here even, but we bought a 16 Enclave in December. Partially because of my parents' experience. It's a great car, lots of room and 3 rows of seats.

We looked at the new Acadias, but she liked the look of the Buick better and I didn't really disagree.

I think you guys will be very happy with it

We love our 2016 GMC Acadia SLT2 it's almost a Denali minus the Denali price. Even has HUD that I wanted really bad and didn't know it had it until I drove it off the lot.

It was one of those "just gonna look" dealer visits...

That is exactly what my visit was on the '17

Also...don't let size fool you the Acadia had more interior cargo room than the Tahoes of those years too...we were shopping both :)

Yep we looked at new Tahoes today, too.
Screw it, I ordered a maxed out SLT2 Acadia in Red
Momma did not like the Denali wood :D

Yeah, Susan didn't like the Denali Acadia either. We loved our SLT2. Pretty much had everything but NAV. Which we use our phones anyway.

Now the Burb is a different story. LTZ basically comes with everything so we got NAV and the Bluray player second and third row. Also to get the AC seats we had to get the LTZ, it wasn't offered on anything else. GM knows how to get you into an upper model.

Nice color choice! :)

Thanks to all, I appreciate it.

Nick, I assume the same rules apply, as far as you know, on the oil changes? I can't see anywhere that there are any design changes on the engine.

My brother just brought home a '17 and they like it a lot. He wishes he wouldn't have bought his equinox that he traded but honestly, I don't think he would have gone for the older body style.

I looked at trading into a '17 and the only pro's for me was the push button start and better fuel economy over our '16.

Wife said she didn't care but wanted to make sure I got something with rear entertainment for the kids. I don't know about you but I didn't find a single one on the car lots with an overhead entertainment system or in the headrests like we have with ours. I think I would have to order it. Didn't care so much about the smaller size but it's still roomier than anything in its class. Compared the '17 to my in-laws Dodge Journey and it had no room! It was half the price but when you sit in it, you quickly understand why. Only feature it had was push button start.

I did notice that, we certainly don't need it anymore, but it was odd not to see it.
