There's no real testing for them, as they're a sealed unit... So just gotta wait for them to go bad.

Glad I don't have to deal with them, lol

So are they only in older vehicles or just Ford's?

GM decided that anyone with a dually knew enough to check their pressures, and didn't need traction control or stability management... My 2011 never had them, lol.

They're Gov't mandated now, so every car has them, not sure when that went through. Could be a Gross Vehicle weight limit, which is why the dually isn't included. My '08 Ram 1500 has them as does my wife's '14 CRV

One of my Dodge's decided to leak, so it got replaced. I think another one might be starting to go.

TREAD Act- The Act mandated the use of a suitable TPMS technology in all light motor vehicles (under 10,000 pounds), to help alert drivers of under-inflation events. This act affects all light motor vehicles sold after September 1, 2007. Phase-in started in October 2005 at 20%, and reached 100% for models produced after September 2007

Well I made it home safe and sound. I'll make an appointment to get the sensors replaced and AC filters done.

I'm done driving for awhile. Pooped.

Thank you for the help, advice and suggestions. I really appreciated it. :):tmc:

Down almost 10psi. Filled it up again, should be good for another couple months.

Saving the tape for other issues :D
