Tire Pressure Sensor Fault (light)

This light and warning keeps coming on everytime I drive over steel plates in Yosemite.

Anyone know why the heck this is happening if they put new tires on, new brake pads and fixed the rotors.

It's the beer goggles causing you to see the light.

Had similar when a sensor was going bad

Step 1 should be to check your tire pressure. Equal all around? Unless you're losing air at a pretty good rate, a piece of tape over the light might be in order

Is it going on and off or staying on? Sounds like its coming on when you hit a bump then going off?

Not sure if your truck uses the ABS sensors or if there are wheel mounted sensors. Do you have the little tool for resetting the TPMS? It looks king of like a key fob, could be in the glove compartment. resetting the system might be worth a shot

What does the TPMS stand for and what does it do?

I didn't go out to the valley today because of last night (totally regret it) and the damn light came on last night when I was driving back to the lodge. Freaking scary as hell!!

I will check on my tires.

The light goes on but then goes off when I reset the system.

Wow.. I feel dumb.

I'll check tomorrow morning on my tires. I didn't go anywhere drive anywhere. Just hiked around my hotel.
