My trailer is 7k dry and 10 gvwr. I haven't fully loaded the trailer with the bikes and all the gear yet, so i don't know what the real number is, nor how having so much weight (streetglide + softail) in the back will affect it. I also put loads in the bed a few times a year, up to a pallet (ton) of wood pellets, so the bags would be nice for that too.
For hauling things in the box alone, the bags are worth it. The trailer effects are a bonus.

I'd say your two bikes are within the ballpark od my ATV, maybe a little heavier.

Harleys are some heavy assed bitches.

That will lighten up your tongue weight, some... I had to run different settings on the WD bars depending on if I had the ATV in there, or not.

I think I have at least 85K more than that.
I have a picture around someplace of my old GMCs dash when it turned 200,000...
How many miles were on the truck you have now when you bought it, and how long have you had it? It's hard to believe I'll have had mine for 7 years next month.
It had 94,000 on it and Ive had it a year and a half...

My 95 had 140,000 when I bought and over 250,000 9 years later when I got rid of it.
