Sitting here, looking at these mostly empty stands, I remembered something...
Last Fall when I was in TN, I "thought" about getting tickets and trying to go to the Saturday night race in Bristol. Seeing that it ended up being pushed to today, I'm sure glad I didn't.

One of these days I'm gonna make there.....Sitting here, looking at these mostly empty stands, I remembered something...
Last Fall when I was in TN, I "thought" about getting tickets and trying to go to the Saturday night race in Bristol. Seeing that it ended up being pushed to today, I'm sure glad I didn't.

I haven't been to a race in ages. Seems like they schedule the races near me for weekend when I can't possibly take time off from work.
It looked like a pretty good crowd last night in the pre-race stuff I saw, I guess everyone had to go home for work tomorrow.

One of these days I'm gonna make there.....
Yeah, that's my plan, too... "one of these days."
My thinking was "go to the Saturday night race and then haul-ass back home on Sunday to be back to work on Monday.

I would take a few days before and after. Just like I did for both race I went to at Indy. I wanted to make it Talladaga when I lived in 'Bama, but couldn't get the time off....One of these days I'm gonna make there.....

I would "probably" make it a longer trip. But, I was trying to think of a way to do a 3 or 4 day weekend.

With Tony going out so early, I am SHOCKED that I'm scoring #1 at the moment. I know it won't last, though.
