Not sure. prob $3-4k?

May have it built so it lasts.

Meh, get it fixed and sell it. Get something you'll be happier with, even if it's not something new.

$3K should get you done.

I got some quotes about a year or so ago. I'm sure mine will be waiving to me at some point in the near future. I have 95,000 and haven't had any torque management since 25,000. Well now I do because of the Maggie and attempting to keep it in the truck a little longer.

I got quotes in the 2300-2800 range. That is with upgraded parts. I told them what would be in front of it.

Hasn't been torn down yet, but the shop has it and has driven it. I told him about the mods (tune and Vette servo). He cant say whether the tune had anything to do with it, but he did say that the Vette servo likely is the culprit.

Back when I bought the Vette servo in about 2008, I called a trans shop when I was debating having it installed vs doing it myself, i was told that you must also modify the separator plate to increase fluid flow. I blew it off as BS as this was such a common mod that people do all the time without doing that. Well, this guy happened to say the exact same thing. Apparently it creates excessive wear on the 3-4 clutches if you do not which can cause premature failure.

So maybe GM isn't at fault here after all. But, if they would not have used a car trans ina truck to begin with, and nannying it to death, i would not have had the need to mod it. So i still blame them. :jester:

We know that. :jester:

In all seriousness, I do feel for you. Had to replace mine just a few months back. Build it up, then buy a Maggie like Dr. Bob and have some fun!

You can only drive your 'Vette like four times a year though.
