Honda will never make a real truck. If it can't be based on the Fit, Civic, or Accord they don't build it.

Still leaking.

No more new leaks that I know of, but there is a new squeal coming from the engine at idle.

But I guess I should expect that with a whopping 58K miles.

Well, after a whopping 65K miles...the transmission in my truck finally shit the bed.

So glad GM makes such awesome trucks and I was able to get this many miles out of it. I am sure a Ford or Ram truck would have their trannies go out much much sooner than this.

But hey, at least it isn't leaking.

:frustration:

Not good. :(

From what I have read, once you go back with a stronger rebuild they last a long time. Do you know what went out? Planetary gear?

I was driving along about 30-40 mph and the engine started revving, but did not lose power. Then it started bucking a bit as I was entering a freeway ramp. Then it would not shift to 3rd. I drove home about 15 miles on the freeway in 2nd gear at about 55-60 mph and 3500 or so RPM. It was kinda odd, it felt like it had no power and I was going to just lose all transmission...but if I stepped on the gas it seemed to downshift and had good power. Just would not shift to 3rd or 4th.

Once off the freeway, the 1-2 shift seemed fine.
