Wouldn't the uneven surface from the oil increase drag? Unless it happens to drip in the right pattern, of course...

Do yourself a favor... :D2

So uneven surfaces under a vehicle don't increase drag? :dunno: I thought that's why they made everything tuck up inside the body instead of hanging down all over the place... To squeak that .001 higher MPG rating. :jester:

well, first of all, mine is not all gunked up. It was just a film of oil on the bottom of the oil pan and surrounding area. It has never dripped on the floor.

and last i checked it's not even leaking anymore since I put in the seal conditioner. I am sure it will again soon though.

I figured it was a lot worse than that, the way you were making it sound, lol.

and how did I make it sound? That was all of you clowns doing that, I just said it leaked, which it did, twice. Once when almost brand new, and again a few years ago.

All I ever heard was that it leaked :dunno:

And by association all other GM's leaked. Usually when someone appears to have a hate on for a brand for something like that, it's more of a consistent problem.

My apologies for being wrong

Well, when a brand new 43K truck leaks oil in it's first year with under 5k miles on it, gets fixed, thenstarts leaking again a few years later with under 40k miles on it...and has been leaking PS fluid from the hoses for years. Yeah, I get pissed. And then last year i see oil film on the bottom of the oil pan on my 40k mile 2008 Corvette. yeah, I get pissed.

And I never said they all leak. But I did say GM has an issue with them leaking as it is a very common issue.

But, I am sure the fanboys and apologists who happen to have one that doesn't leak think none of them do. That works both ways huh?
