Just remember... On a new truck, the factory tires are only good for pavement :D2

ehhhh, the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's that came on mine did alright in the dirt & rocks.. I haven't tried 'em in mud or anything, though. :uhoh: [emoji38]
Mine were down to 60-75% with my old truck... And they were crap in the mud, snow and ice...

I'm still under 4k miles on 'em so far. From what I've read online since my earlier post, it seems they go to shit after about 15k or so. [emoji38] :uhoh:
That would do it, lol

Idk, I disliked the ones that came on the Tahoe and only hated them more as time went on. Weren't great on dry roads and even worse once rain or snow hit. Put 30k on them, and the day I replaced them was one of the best things I've done to the Tahoe.

Not that it bothers you southern kids much, but the SR-As on the new trucks are complete crap in the snow. Even the AT/Ses that came on my GMT900 were better. I can't wait for these things to wear out so I can put some better shoes on it. These trucks are too good to have such shit tires put on them.

I'm not picking on you, your's was just the most recent post talking about the stock tires.. What are good tires to replace the stock ones with? I don't mean something that just "looks" more aggressive or whatever, but actually performs well? This is an open question to all you guys who don't like the stock tires.

Thanks!

I put Michelin LTX A/Ts on the Jeep and really liked them. A fairly light duty A/T tire but more then enough for what light off-roading I did but still quiet and wore well. I put LTX M/S2s on the Tahoe as we've had great luck with them and wear really well, not to mention they have much better traction than the Goodyears did in all situations and are quieter. The Frontier came with Hankook DynaPro ATMs which I'm actually surprised with, they're pretty aggressive for an OEM tire but not too bad on the highway. I've only had it a little over a month and put 1700 miles on them but so far I'm happy with them. Usually OEM all-terrains aren't anywhere close to all-terrains but these actually are, kuddos to Nissan:

Thanks, Matt!

If what I've read is true, I'll probably be replacing these in about a year. :uhoh:

To get back on track. Has anybody seen Cory's new truck.....:dunno:

He sent me a picture of a truck, but he didn't say anything else. So, I'm not sure if he had bought it or was just looking at it or what.. :dunno:
