Other than all those white flakes everywhere it is a sweet deal! :D

Like posted above, these GMT800's are solid vehicles. If he treated it right and took care of it, you shouldn't have any issues from either the engine or transmission. I know of good fluids to replace all the old stuff if interested. :synad:

I'm kidding, obviously. For looks. Why do we do most of the things we do to our trucks?

Good question.

I am done pissing money away on trucks.

Boats, Corvettes and classic muscle cars are where it's at. Trucks are rolling bricks that are great for what they are intended for. I will never look at a truck as anything but a tool ever again. Now, I am not saying they cannot look good or have style, but they are still a truck.

I guess driving a truck for the past 26 years has finally made me sick of them...yet, I will likely always own one as they are excellent tools.

I pretty much feel the same way about trucks. I'm pretty tired of trucks in general.

Sorta cracks me up watching others spend mega-thousands on making a 6000 pound brick "perform".

I haven't spent mega-thousands....Just a few. :D2

Its fun spanking all the oil burning asshats though.

If I could...I would like a vette and just a small truck to haul stuff if needed. :(

I came so close to just putting a Maggie on mine last month.

I am just ready for a quiet diesel. I never thought I would utter the words.

I have to have a truck. I drove a Challenger last summer, and I loved it, but I really don't think I could do it every day in the summer. My job is such that I like to be able to throw anything in the back to go support my guys, and customers, and hook on to any trailer or put 3000 pound engines in the back if I have to.

Trying to find a company truck available that isn't full of my employee's shit is just aggravating.

I am there. I am old, now. It's quiet diesel time. They have evolved. 410 HP and 880 lb/feet of torque at a low RPM might be a nice change for us. We are ready to drag our big travel trailer all over this big bitch of a state. Doing that with the 6.0 tachin' out all the time is tiresome.
