Wow, Tractor trailers have the most twist in their frames than any other truck on the road. They are only as strong as their suspension. This is the biggest upgrade to any weak frame, air ride suspension will make any truck capable of carrying the heavy loads with less possible damage.

Big rigs undergo frame maintenance and inspection often and one of the biggest problem Volvo's, Peterbilts, or any other combination vehicle built up of 8 grade steal is fame rail separation.

Here is a photo of a wrecked frame due to the trailers king pin catching the frame when the tractor pulled away.

Considering how much abuse these things take, the flex is a good thing... The highway only ones not so much, but the ones that go digging through the bush... They get airborne, have have the truck sticking out of ditches hovering...
All with loads on.

No flex at all would snap the frame a lot more often than it does happen.

That's not to say a stronger frame doesn't have its place, but you do need flex... All that air ride suspension is still attached to the frame.... If the truck is lucky enough to have air ride...
