If the rain holds out I'm getting the motor and transmission out today. Not gonna put it in mine till Tuesday though.

Well... I couldn't find a disconnect tool for the fuel lines so I cut em. The old fuel lines were gonna be too long and mine for the 6cyl wouldn't work. So now I either have to wait a week for new fuel lines or splice them. Problem is I cut the lines a foot back from the motor. If it leaks my truck could burn up. Gonna make a decision on it today but DAMN this shit is taking forever!!

I think I would replace them, I wouldn't trust a spliced high pressure fuel line!

Unfortunately, these kinds of projects always take longer and cost more than you expect, but better to do it right the first time!

Yea. It's only gonna have 50lbs in the line but better safe then sorry. I'd hate to be on the side of the road watching my truck burn up....
