I'm NEW... What now?
So I figured you guys might be interested in my 69 Chevy C/20 Build.
Bought this truck a couple years ago as a co-project with my dad. The body it pretty straight, the engine has been re-built and it runs like a champ. The wheels and tires were put on by the previous owner, and they are worth more than we paid for the truck.
Here is what it looked like when i bought it:

Here is the progress so far:
I have slowly been working on stripping it to get it ready for body and paint

Removed the behind the seat gas tank, and I am planning on putting a new one in the bed

Im really surprised at how little rust there is, but that is typical for the high deserts of Oregon, and the truck was originally from Nevada. There might be a little more rust the further we get into stripping

Hopefully soon I will be able to finish stripping it so I can get it to my paint and body guy. I only have a little bit left to remove, and we are planning on pulling the engine and tranny so it will make it easier to clean it up and paint it. I have been super busy lately so I have not been able to work on it as much as possible.
Once I have it stripped and I get it to my paint and body guy it might take him 6 months or more to get it finished since he is just doing it on the side.
Once its out of body and paint, then we will start putting it back together. There could be an issue since I am going to be moving and I will be 300 miles from my dad, but he is retiring at the end of the year, so I may be able to put her in a garage in Portland, and he can come up and help me with it.
I still have not decided on a color yet. We have narrowed it down to 2 colors, but keep going back and forth as to which one to choose.
Anyway, I will post up some more pictures as I get further along.
