We were on a road trip and I wanted to get to a certain place before we stopped for the night...
Darling Wife finally said OK, but I better not be driving 100 MPH... I of course said OK...
Later we were cruising along a real nice, real smooth road, that had just been resurfaced with new asphalt.
She looked over at the speedometer and said "You said you were not gonna be driving 100"
I glanced down at the digital readout and before I thought of what I was fixing to say... I said "I'm not... we are only doing 99"
That wasn't the smartest answer I ever gave....
