Hi all

I need to repair a 1988 NP241C, all the bolt on the adapter and on transmission was loosen so the tranfer case was happily rotating arond the input shaft :chipper: (I was wondering about the vibration inside the cab...)

All the seals are cracked so decided to buy a repair kit including the bearings and chain; searched on ebay but too much kit with different price and not include all the parts needed.
If someone knows a good overhaul kit , please let me know

greetings from Italy!

Internally was very clean, no dirt, no metal bits and the oil pump filter is like new.
Only the range slider has a deep wear on the front gear. It seems that the previous owner did a good work but I have in doubt about the chain, it has 36 rocker pins (only one blue pin) but it is 33mm wide (1 19⁄64in) instead of the 1.25" :wtf?:

The code on the blue pin is (morse) I15h but never found such chain-wide on the net for this transfer case model; never seen a new chain but this seem to be like new, so maybe a mistake for the previous owner.

I need your help, I'm getting crazy trying to find the proper chain and spare parts.

:suicide: :suicide: :suicide:

Thanks in advance to all, this is my first TC rebuilt :)
