I bet it gets used a lot more for burnouts than it does on a drag strip, people like being posers that look cool.

:wtf:

I'm just not a big burnout fan, it's lost speed and rubber. Though, a ZR1 a burnout going 70mph after dropping a gear and gunning it is pretty sweet.

Ford has MyKey which lets you set a max speed and lock traction control on, etc. for a set key. For example: When Little Johnny borrows the car, give him the second key with a max speed set, traction and stability control locked on, and line lock locked off.

Maybe it's "track key" or some crap like that I was thinking of that turned "on" certain features. I thought the stock key "limited" what the car could do and the "other" key (whatever the frak they call it) raised those limits.. :dunno:

Maybe on the Mustang, I was just basing it off my Mom's Edge.

There was one of the Mustangs a year or two (or three?) ago that had a "track key" or some such thing that you paid extra for to turn "on" certain features.. (or, perhaps turn them "off" as the case may be for traction control, etc.)

I figured that was how the "My Key" thing worked. The "regular" key had all the nannies turned on by default and the "My Key" would let you turn those things off. :dunno:

I'm not in the market for a Mustang. So, I haven't kept up with all that stuff very much.

The Boss 302 has a track key for the track. Has a key for daily use.
