That's good news. I'm still wondering how they broke the manifold in the first place.

After inquiring, they showed me that one of the studs broke off, and they ruined at least 10 bits trying to drill it out. They decided to just replace the manifold, the excuse I was given that the shop manager was off that day so he couldn't give me a heads up. Doesn't explain why he couldn't afterwards, but whatever, that's why I went straight to the owner to discuss it more.

So, they bolt broke and took it upon themselves to try to replace it? Not your problem that they ruined bits. How did one bolt lead to a manifold replacement? Why did they even mess with it in the first place.

Nothing to do with a transmission.
