It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Not really impressive... more like expected. An electric motor that puts out 416HP will absolutely crush a gas motor in the quarter mile.... but the down fall is the car can only run about 130MPH... so do the texas mile with both these cars.. and then come back and tell me how impressive it is.

:jester:

I saw one of these in person at the Dream Cars show last September... I really liked the dash board and center with the controls. Like having 2 full size tabelts in your dash. LOL.

Yeah you could tell the vette was closing in on it. Even a third of a mile track and it would have won

Until they get the reliability up I wouldn't touch the S with a 10' pole.

What are the reliability issues? Are they recalling all of them because of engine fires, leaking main seals? fires due to washer fluid heaters, AFM lifters crashing, bent frames???

I'm just trying to understand what it is that's so unreliable about them. :D2

Blah, blah, blah, 1200 lbs, first generation, four passengers... Take it for what it is. If Tesla wanted to lighten the car and work that C7 over, I bet they could.

Let's see how it does against the C7 Z06 .

I bet the Tesla sounds like a Prius too.

That would be fun to see, for sure. If Tesla actually would build an electric supercar and then put it up against the best of the best, I'd pay money to watch. :D

I have a hunch the C8 may just be an AWD Hybrid.
