2015 Z06 Has 620 HP, 650 Ft Lbs Torque

The 2015 Corvette Z06 will be upon us next week, where they'll unveil it at the Detroit Auto Show and online. The website for the reveal is already up, and the meta data has leaked that the Z06 will have 620 horsepower and 650 pound feet of torque. Nice.

As a keen reader pointed out, if you go on the Googles and search "2015 Corvette Z06 supercar reveal," the website meta data for the launch site reveals just how much power is in the newest super Corvette.

Sounds good to us. That power is probably coming straight from the LT4 V8 that we saw leaked pictures of the other week. We'll see the whole Z06 on Monday. Or beforehand if it leaks.

It'll be a beast for sure but I was hoping they'd leave the Z06 with an high displacement, high performance, hand built NA engine like a true replacement to the LS7. A 7.0L LT V8 beast. It made it special, anyone can throw a blower on an LT1. Though with the Z06 pushing 620hp what's the ZR1 going to do?

Should be interesting. Quite the step up in performance. Ferrari territory for CORVETTE money is pretty cool stuff to me.

Actually, many track guys on CF are upset that they put a supercharger on a car that was meant for track use.

NA is better suited for track duty. That is why the C6 Z06 is a better track car than the ZR1.

This also tells me there will only be one performance variant C7....so likely no ZR1.

I'd drive the fWONk out of one though.
