Yeah, rereading the article it says it's 300 lighter than the ZL1 and 100 lbs lighter than the SS which would make it roughly 3800 lbs. Giggity!

Gone are the stupid afterthought backup lights. WOO HOO! The new design just flows better.
The Corvette tails dont piss me off as much now.
They look like they are trying to keep up with the Charger/Challenger tails.

Gotta agree. That's NUTS.
What did everyone expect for the starting price? It's not supposed to compete with the F-body Z/28, it's a bare bones, track ready monster. There's a lot of expensive items in the chassis and powertrain. That low volume, hand built LS7 isn't cheap either. Want an affordable DD Camaro? Get an SS.
580HP/556ft-lb in comfort = $55,055
500HP/470ft-lb stripped down with better brakes = $75,000
It doesn't add up for me.
They're just following the business plan of Porsche. Get less for more but at least Camaro has door handles and a cowl over the gauges
