Thread revival works for me, fun to see what others said, like:

As you can tell, my wife and I enjoy cars/trucks even though they are horrible investments. We are saving up to build a house on some land we bought a few years ago so I'm done buying vehicles for now. That being said, I plan to replace our current 3rd car (Acura) with a new Camaro in 3 years. :D

Done buying vehicles for now? How many have you bought since that post?

and I must have missed it my first time around.

96 S10 LS I4 2WD (great truck we all miss it, slow as hell, reliable as hell, totaled by a hail storm in 05)
04 Malibu LS V6 (not the best looker but that 3.5 V6 ran decent and would get 35MPG on the highway every time, had some issues for the first year but after that nothing, my mom kept it up till 12 and it never had anything break)
08 Sierra SLE 5.3 Ext. Cab 2WD (Cousin has it now, two power windows and two lock actuators have died)
11 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X V6 4x4 (I really like this but the driver headrest fell off, what was I to do?)
13 Tahoe Z71 4x4 (in sig, love this truck)

MAN! You really dodged a bullet with that one! Whew!! :uhoh: :jester:

You never know with me, a failed door lock could have turned into a reason to trade it off.

Seems the 900s go through lock actuators rather quickly though. If I have the Tahoe long enough, I'm sure it'll go through it's fair share as well. You'd think after a common problem was discovered they'd change suppliers or upgrade the part but they never fixed the problems with gauge clusters or fuel sending units on the 800s after 7 years of production, why would the 900s be any different?
